‘Thor 3: Ragnarok’: Loki Poses As Odin; Where Are The Infinity Stones?

By

"Thor 3: Ragnarok" is bound to thunder into theaters on November 3, 2017. It is said that Kenneth Branagh will be at the helm directing the film. Tom Hiddleston confirms his return to the sequel and infiltrates Asgard as Odin, while all except for two of the Infinity Stones are still to be found.

Christian Post shares that Tom Hiddleston confirms his return to "Thor 3: Ragnarok." Although it is unclear as to what the plot will be, Loki will be using his magical powers again to get into Asgard. Only this time, he will be in the form of Odin himself. Other than that, there is not much that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has given to make everything concrete. But if MCU does follow the comic version, the storyline will surely spell an end for Asgard. Ragnarok becomes an apocalyptic finale where both Thor and Odin could possibly die. Surtur, a massive fiery demon, will be their main nemesis.

In "Avengers: Age of Ultron", it is noted that Thor is headed for Asgard to search the Infinity Stones. This quest will again lead him into a confrontation with Loki.

Yibada gives an account of the whereabouts of the Infinity Stones. Reportedly, Thanos might again appear in "Thor 3: Ragnarok." It is speculated that Thanos will get his hands on The Tesseract or the Space Stone from Asgard in the film. The Orb or the Power Stone will allegedly be taken from the Nova Corps in "Guardians of the Galaxy."

The Mind Stone, on the other hand, is possibly in Jarvis' physical form, Vision. As for the Reality Stone or the Aether, is said to be with The Collector in "Guardians of the Galaxy."

With all four stones accounted for, there are only two stones left, namely the Time and the Soul Stones, according to Tech Times. Fans and moviegoers don't have to wait until "Thor 3: Ragnarok" is shown to find out where the other stones might be. Marvel has included an eight-minute feature video in the home video release of "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

Avid fans will have to wait for "Thor 3: Ragnarok" to be shown on November 3, 2017 to satisfy their queries, unless Marvel decides to make an earlier release of its trailer. Expect to see a lot of Easter eggs in the upcoming Marvel films in the next few years to get a hint on the whereabouts of the Infinity Stones. Hopefully, Tom Hiddleston and director Kenneth Branagh will spill the beans to the delight of their followers.
