Latest "Krampus" updates show that the new trailer of the film was released by Universal Studios and Legendary Pictures has gained a lot of heat in Twitter. It is a film directed by Michael Dougherty with a script written by Todd Casey, Zach Shields and Dougherty himself. Moviegoers can't wait to see what's in store to scare them up for Christmas.
The Wall Street Journal shares the newest "Krampus" updates. A certain analytics and data provider that analyzes which trailers are creating the most tweets, follows and discussions on a weekly and year-to-date basis gave information for movie lovers to chomp on. The data gathered was for the weekly period category from September 7 to September 13, 2015.
The official horror movie trailer of the "Shadow of Saint Nicholas" ranked in first, followed by "Our Brand is Crisis" (Sandra Bullock and Billy Bob Thornton), with "I Smile Back" (Sarah Silverman) coming in third, and then fourth place is "Spotlight" with "Room" (Brie Larson) on fifth place. The trailer gained 3.5 million views in a matter of six days when it was first released on Wednesday to Monday the following week. It has also gained more Twitter engagement than any other trailer in that particular week.
Twitter shows comments and shares on "Krampus" updates. One fan tweeted that it "has become one of his most anticipated films after seeing the trailer." Another one indirectly commended director Michael Dougherty and described the trailer as "spectacular." While another user said it was a "cool new trailer", more comments described the trailer to put "Shake, Rattle and Roll" to shame and some said it was "All Kinds of Amazing!"
According to Sabkuchbox, the "Krampus" trailer is in full high definition and the MP4 in high quality. They even have a movie poster with what is assumed to be a horrible feature of the "shadow of Saint Nicholas" dressed in a Santa costume all bright and red. It is seen holding a bloodied knife and there's a smaller full-body image of himself just below with Santa's gift bag on his back full of presumed gifts. Written on the poster is his name described as the "Christmas Devil" and captioned "Are you on the NAUGHTY LIST?"
Horror-loving moviegoers would definitely share the latest "Krampus" updates. The movie stars Adam Scott, Toni Collette, David Koechner, Allison Tolman and a whole lot more. The horror-comedy film is set land its hooves in theaters on December 4, 2015.
