WSJ has released a new "One Piece" film coming out in theaters next year. The official website for the animated film has also been unveiled recently.
With the demand of anime fans, "One Piece" is obviously one of the most-watched animes all over the world. Now, fans are being spoiled again.
Besides the movie announcement, there are still other things to be excited for in the upcoming film. As it was reported on Shonen Gamez, Eiichiro Oda, creator of One Piece, will be included in the development of the movie just as he was directly involved in the previous movies, Strong World and Film Z.
The stars behind the characters will portray each and every role. Latino Posts listed the names which include Mayumi Tanaka as Luffy, Hiroaki Hirata as Sanji, Kappei Yamaguchi as Usopp, Akemi Okamura as Nami, Kazuya Naki as Zoro, Ikue Otani as Chopper, Yuriko Yamaguchi as Nico Robin, Cho as Brook and Kazuki Yao as Franky.
Moreover, Vine Report noted that a special episode was exposed last month. In the episode, fans were able to see a glimpse of Sabo, Luffy and Ace's brother. The "One Piece- Episode of Sabo: The Three Brothers' Bond - The Miraculous Reunion and the Inherited Will", focused on the childhood story of Sabo together with Luffy and Ace. It also showed a short flick when he visited Whitebeard and Ace's grave. It also featured Sabo and Luffy's reunion at Dressrosa. After the broadcast of the TV special episode, the announcement was made.
"One Piece" is a well-known anime and manga series about Monkey D. Luffy, a 17-year old pirate boy. Generally, people think that he became a pirate out of his intense desire of adventure. Being the unusual pirate that he is, Luffy's goal is to find the One Piece treasure. Sooner, he will meet his friends, fight against villains and discovers secrets as he goes after his goal.
Recently, an official website for the upcoming film was also launched with a message from Oda that they will be making a movie while saying that fans must wait for it. For now, the movie will tentatively have the title "One Piece Film for 2016". Details will be arriving soon, stay updated!
