Apparently last Wednesday, September 16, rumours started spreading that the comedian was supposedly dating Miley Cyrus. Despite the news being unlikely, Dane immediately took to an interview with E! News to set the record straight.
In a report from International Business Times, Dane Cook denied the allegations that he and Miley are dating. Being the comedian that he is, Cook laughed the situation off saying "I'm always the last to know these things". "Just let Miley know that I'll pick her up for dinner at 8," he joked.
According to reports, the most recent MTV Video Music Award host and Dane Cook have been friends for years, and have even shared moments together over instagram. However, despite rumours stating the two are romantically connected, it's all false.
Eonline reported that Miley Cyrus also opened up on her relationship status with Elle Magazine UK. In her interview with the famous tabloid, the "Wrecking Ball" star admitted she goes on dates, but is currently single. "I'm 22, I'm going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I'm with," she revealed. "I'm very open about it; I'm pansexual. But I'm not in a relationship."
With Dane Cook clearing up the rumours, it's safe to say that he's not hooking up with Miley Cyrus. However, with the latest statement Cyrus gave in her magazine interview, it might not be long until fans hear more rumours of the 22-year-old dating someone new.
