Recent reports claim that actress Nina Dobrev is faking PDAs with Austin Stowell to make ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder jealous. On the other hand, the newlyweds Nikki Reed and "The Vampire Diaries" actor stepped out for a good cause as they cuddled up to a llama on the red carpet.
The new couple, Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell have been seen packing on the PDA for a couple of times now. A new report from Hollywood Take apparently hinted at the prospect that Dobrev and Stowell may be getting engaged soon. It was mentioned that the couple recently stepped out at the New York Fashion Week. A source close to the couple mentioned that they were "sitting close and acting really cute." The duo also attended Kayla Ewell and Tanner Novlan's wedding, looking lovestruck with each other.
But another report claims of the possibility that the 26-year old actress' burning love with Stowell is only a way to compete with her ex-boyfriend, Ian Somerhalder, and his wife Nikki Reed. According to Inquisitr, many of her fans noticed Dobrev's PDA photos with Stowell, which seemed like "The Vampire Diaries" actress is trying too hard to prove that she has moved on from Somerhalder.
Dobrev and Somerhalder starred together in "The Vampire Diaries" as Elena and Damon. The two started dating in 2010 and split in May 2013. Somerhalder is now married to "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed while Dobrev is dating "Whiplash" star Austin Stowell, but fans of Dobrev and Somerhalder remain hopeful that the two would still reunite as a couple.
On the other hand, the controversial newly weds Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed stepped out on Friday while attending Heifer International's fourth annual Beyond Hunger Gala. The couple were present to support the fight against hunger and they posed with the llamas at the Montage hotel in LA.
The pair snapped selfies with the furry animals and looked at each other lovingly while posing for photos on the red carpet. Somerhalder later on, took to his Instagram account and posted a fun shot from the night. He captioned the photo, "Lucky Llama..At @Heifer gala fighting hunger."
Meanwhile, reports are still circulating that the two pairs are still competing with each other, with Dobrev and her PDAs with her new beau and Somerhalder with his newly wedded life with wife Reed. But, Somerhalder and Reed are seemingly very much in love with each other. They even shared a couple of sweet moments on the carpet, staring into each other's eyes like no one else was there.
