The Spider-Man reboot follows the high school life of Peter Parker. While Tom Holland, 19, is the youngest Spider-Man so far, Sony Pictures and Marvel distort a bit younger of him.
Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures has handed Jon Watts the filmmaking of the upcoming sequel project of the "Spider-Man" series. In an article on Yahoo! UK, Watts revealed the actual age of Peter Parker in an interview with Empire Magazine. "I love the idea of making a coming-of-age high-school movie," Watts said. "We're really going to see Peter Parker in high school and get deeper into that side of it. He's just 15 now."
Screenrush indicated that the setting will let the fans see more of how Peter will struggle with his superhero identity and superpowers which was concisely shown in the previous movies. In the Comic books, this was an enormous component of the character's development.
With just few details, unanswered questions about who will be Spidey's villains in the reboot remain unidentified. But, Movie Pilot has speculated three possible villains who will be seen in the film. The three characters include The Task Master, Kraven the Hunter and Kingpin.
The Task Master is a tactical chameleon that can swiftly adapt and match Spider-Man's fighting style. He may appear but not too powerful in the movie. Kraven the Hunter actually killed Spidey in one of the most popular comic book series. But, the studio may have him play a normal villain. However, it all remains mere speculations unless confirmed.
As it was reported, Holland has already started filming his first scenes as Spider-Man. He will debut a scant supporting role in Joe and Anthony Russo's Captain America: Civil War.
Moreover, the production of the "Spider-Man Reboot" will begin in the next summer which will give a year for the project to progress before it nears the scheduled release date on July 28, 2017. Stay tuned for more updates!
