Another mid-range smartphone dubbed as the Xiaomi Mi 4C will be unveiled today by the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi. The Xiaomi's executives have already published some of its significant features ahead of today's event.
According to International Business Times, the new Xiaomi Mi 4C will be a dual-SIM smartphone that will permit users to insert LTE-enabled SIM-cards. This feature was reported similar to the Mi 4i where users are allowed to access LTE networks with both SIM-cards.
Furthermore, Xiaomi's co-founder Lin Bin has posted other key aspects of Xiaomi Mi4c on Weibo. The Co-founder confirmed that Xiaomi Mi 4C will work on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC along with the Adreno GPU.
As for more of its specifications, Gizmochina reports that Xiaomi Mi4c will come in 5-inch FHD 1080p display. Since it will not sport a memory card slot, it is speculated that it could also have a 64GB variant aside from 2GB/ 3GB RAM & 16GB / 32GB storage options.
What's more, the Xiaomi Mi4c will also come packed with a 3000+ mAh battery.For camera configuration, this latest handset will sport a 13MP rear-camera and a 5MP selfie-snapper.
Based from the image posted on Weibo, the latest Xiaomi Mi4c was presented in black and white colors. Nevertheless, it is still expected to come with a lot more color options once the company unveils the handset officially. Mr. Li, the Operations Director at Xiaomi has also hinted that Mi4c will have another feature that's quite interesting. Though it wasn't revealed, it is anticipated to be either a fast charging or support for the entire network.
Christian Today reports that Xiaomi Mi4C will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and will use the latest MIUI 7.0 as its front end. It will also have an LTE feature and Wi-Fi capabilities. Moreover, the device is claimed to have the USB Type-C feature as the most prominent among its upgrades. T
his is a feature where even the latest iPhones do not have, however, the new Mac devices have already started supporting them. The USB Type-C will let the users plug in their chargers from whichever side or direction that will make it more versatile compared to standard USB chargers.
The newest mid-range smartphone Xiaomi Mi4c will hit the stores on October 3. Its 16GB version was reported available at a price approximately 1299 Yuan ($203) while its 32GB version is about 1499 Yuan ($235).
