Meizu is expected to unveil its latest flagship Meizu Pro 5 on September25. The company VP has revealed some information about its battery life that could work for 16 hours 46 minutes with around 4% of battery left.

According to Android Community, the Meizu Pro 5 will be a phablet-sized handset that will come in 5.7-inch Full HD (1080p) display. Samsung's Exynos 7420 will allegedly supply power for the handset while being backed by a 4GB RAM. It will also have a quick charge feature and a boasting 21MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.

Previous comments from Meizu's President, Bai Yongxiang, suggests that Pro 5 will be having two versions, one powered by the deca-core MT-6797 CPU from MediaTek. However, Meizu appears to have moved away from that discourse since the Company now focuses on the Exynos 7420 chipset that will give power to the Pro 5. That is considered as a powerful SoC that also drives the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge. It has an octa-core CPU and the Mali-T760 MP8 GPU, reports Phone Arena.

Gizmochina stated that the Meizu Pro 5 latest news is the information about its battery life that was even revealed by the company's VP, Li Nan. It is said that battery life had always been one among the substantial factors that influence buying decision. The rumored leaks appear to indicate that fans won't be frustrated with the new Pro 5 handset.

A few screenshots with the battery usage stats of Meizu Pro 5 was posted by Li Nan on its official Weibo account. The screenshots said to reveal the Pro 5's ability to run for roughly 16 hours 46 minutes with only 4% of battery left.

Nevertheless, the site assumed that the 16 hours 46 minutes figure was after it has been fully charged. In addition, another screenshot suggested that Pro 5's display got about 8 hours of screen time throughout this period. Furthermore, Li Nan added that it is not the official Flyme variant running and once the official version hits the handset, an improved battery life can be expected by the users due to optimization.

The forthcoming flagship Meizu Pro 5 is reportedly set for a September 26 release with a rumored price tag that comes in 3000 Yuan or $471.
