XCOM 2 Resurrection Novel to be Released Before the Game; Book to Contain a Lot of Battles?

XCOM 2, Firaxis' continuity to the XCOM series, has certainly shown great promise for the past months of its promotions. To get away from the gaming side of things, there is one addition to the system that will make it more interesting as it already is.

According to Over Mental, the development team of Firaxis, along with publisher 2K Games have declared working with author Greg Keyes, and publisher Insight Editions as they fabricate the upcoming written masterpiece known as XCOM 2: Resurrection novel. The said novel was noted to give more details regarding the story that has been built up within the title.

As reported by PC Gamer, many fans are aware that the particular gamer failed during the first rebooted expansion, and the government cordially submitted to the aliens in such. The XCOM 2: Resurrection story is bound to disseminate more details, defining the big Advent cities' creation, and the critical trades that majority of the people made to have an ensured safety.

Delivered by Softpedia, the official announcement states, "the official prequel novel to XCOM 2 from author Greg Keyes, tells the story of Amar Tan, a promising recruit in the barely-hanging-on guerrilla resistance network that still dares to combat Advent outside of Gulf City." Having said so, the book will most likely comprise of numerous battle scenes intact. Some of which will include Sectoids, Chryssalids and human troopers as well.

After some frustrating news about the game of XCOM 2 being moved to a February 5, 2016 release date, the XCOM 2: Resurrection book looks to alter the negativity, as it makes its way to the stores on November 10, 2015 for the PC. New maps, better systems, enemies, new types of customizations and a better strategic layer awaits the anticipating fans of the XCOM franchise.
