The seventh season of the hit comedy series "Modern Family" will be seeing Haley and Andy possibly having a relationship after the season 6 finale cliffhanger. Series creator Christopher Lloyd also dished some details about Alex's college life.
According to Christian Today, season 6 ended with Andy never getting the chance to know whether or not Haley has feelings for him. In the first episode of season 7 of "Modern Family," fans will get the answer that they have been waiting for. According to the publication, Phil will be able to tell his daughter that she and Andy are lovers and not just good friends.
Phil reportedly said via a speakerphone, "Haley and Andy love each other, but they don't know it! I could tell by the way he hugged you goodbye." In the season premiere, Andy will be proposing to Beth at the beach but Phil will let Haley know about it and she will be going after him as she know where Andy's favorite spot is.
Realty Today shared that Haley will be successful in trying to stop Andy and fans will get to see the two getting into a real relationship. Showrunner Christopher Lloyd shared his thoughts about Andy and Haley's impending relationship, "But when you're changing your pattern in life, you approach it tentatively and carefully, so that's why they've sort of been taking it in small steps up until this point, and sort of each is a little bit afraid of making too much of a move. And that kind of continues through the coming season."
Meanwhile, Yahoo reported that Season 7 will also see Alex in college. Lloyd shared that she will be going away to college but she will also be visiting her home. He added, "And we have cast members that go visit her there, and she's home on weekends sometimes or in the house via Skype, or home sometimes to visit friends and not the family, as sometimes happens. It's a change in the family dynamic, which is something that happens."
Haley and Andy getting into a relationship and Alex going away to college are some of the things to expect in the premiere of "Modern Family" season 7. The series will be back on September 23 on ABC.
