The 'Goosebumps' movie has the fans of the children's horror literature excited. Out in the cinemas just in time for Halloween, the 'Goosebumps' movie can transport the audience face to face with the monsters, in what is called 'Goosebumps Virtual Reality Adventure'.
As reported by Coming Soon, the 'Goosebumps' movie will literally make you feel part of the action with immersive motion by D-BOX and virtual reality goggles. Audiences will be inside the movie itself, and the concept was "inspired by a scene in the film itself."
The experience was directed by 'Goosebumps' director himself, Rob Letterman. Stine, played by Jack Black, tries to escape The Giant Praying Mantis while maneuvering through the town. The motion of the D-BOX chair is synced to action with precision, and the character will tell "viewers to look around and experience the world of 'Goosebumps'" as if they were transported to that world.
Aside from the virtual reality adventure, the 'Goosebumps' movie has released new trailers, including The Giant Praying Mantis scene. According to CDA News, the clips give glimpses of many monsters that fans have loved in the books and so much more from R.L. Stine's imagination.
With a high anticipation for this nostalgic horror-adventure film, a sequel for the 'Goosebumps' movie is already underway, Den of Geek reported. Apparently, Sony has put the sequel on the fast track, and is already on the lookout for a new screenwriter. 'Goosebumps' stars Black, Dylan Minnette, and Odeya Rush are already signed up for possible sequels.
The ghouls and monsters from R.L. Stine's imagination penned are here to scare moviegoers in the big screen. The 'Goosebumps' movie opens in October 16, 2015 while the 'Goosebumps Virtual Reality Adventure' will be available for four weekends, Saturdays and Sundays between September 26 and October 18. Limited places will experience the virtual reality excitement: New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Miami, San Jose, Cleveland , Washington, Albuquerque, Toronto, and Salt Lake City.
