Google will soon release their new flagship smartphones and is confirmed to be named Nexus 5X and 6P.
As the biggest search engine company will hold a big event on September 29, it is then belived that the event is a launch of their newest Nexus series.
According to Android Police, LG's follow-up to its 2013 Nexus 5 is a 5.2-inch smartphone that will be called Nexus 5X and Huawei's 5.7-inch forthcoming device will be named Nexus 6P. This was already confirmed as leaked images of its retail packaging have been released
Android Authority further discussed the appearance of the retail packaging. Leaked images show a large "X" for the Nexus 5X and "P" for Nexus 6P. The Huawei's Nexus 6P comes with a box having rounded edges while LG's Nexus 5X sports a rectangular design. The device model can be found on the top-left corner, along with the storage capacity (32GB) and a silhouette of the devices's rear appearance. Lastly, it has been noted that the packaging doesn't have an OEM logo.
Gadgets 360 cited some of the features that these devices will have. Both of them will be running Google's latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. They will also have fingerprint sensors and USB Type-C ports.
The LG Nexus 5X will be armed with 5.2 -inch full-HD screen with a 1080x1920 pixels display. It will be engineered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor working hand-in-hand with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 418 GPU. The rear-facing camera will have a 12.3-megapixel sensor while the front-facing camera will have 5-megapixel. And lastly, Nexus 5X will be powered by a 2700mAh capacity battery.
Meanwhile, the Huawei Nexus 6P will roll out sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 SoC. It will have a 5.7-inch QHD display. This device will also sport front-facing speakers and a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera as well as an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
The model names of the latest Google flagship smartphones were confirmed as Nexus 5X from LG and Nexus 6P from Huawei as photos of both devices as well as their packaging were leaked online.
