The latest trailer for "The Peanuts" movie has just arrived. It is reportedly a sneak peek to some nostalgic, classic Peanuts bits.
NY Daily News reported that 20th Century Fox's "The Peanuts" movie is only two months away. The franchise, which gave birth to several movies and TV specials over the past 50 years, has released its latest trailer.
In the trailer, the round-headed Charlie Brown is shown dreaming, while his friends encounter Lucy's psychiatric booth. The kids also bumped into the legendary Joe Cool as well as the Little Red-Haired Girl. Also, the trailer showed tons of dancing, as Chuck and his friends head to a school dance where everyone showed off their signature dance moves.
According to Parade, the movie will focus on Charlie's epic and heroic quest. His best pal, Snoopy, on the other hand, tries to pursue his arch-nemesis, the Red Baron. "The Peanuts" movie will reportedly prove how an underdog can one day claim his glory.
"Peanuts" was deemed as one of the most popular and influential comic strips of all time, and was read every day by 355 million people in 75 countries, as reported by Coming Soon. In addition, "Peanut's" holiday television special entitled "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" has won an Emmy Award. It continues to be one of the most highest rated primetime TV specials.
It is worth noting that this year marks the 65th anniversary of Charles M. Schulz's "Peanuts" comic strip debut. Surprisingly, it's also the 50th anniversary of the landmark television special, "A Charlie Brown Christmas."
"The Peanuts" movie will feature the voices of Noah Schnapp, Hadley Belle Miller, AJ Tecce, Noah Johnston, Venus Schultheis, Alexander Garfin, Francesca Capaldi, Mar Mar, Mariel Sheets, Rebecca Bloom, William Alexander Wunsch, Anastasia Bredikhina and Madisyn Shipman. The film's script was written by Schulz's sons, Craig Schulz and Bryan Schulz, alongside Cornelius Uliano.
