Amy Schumer's book seems to get the comedian another piece of fortune. With a blockbuster film, critically-acclaimed TV show, a new Emmy award, and BFF, Jennifer Lawrence, it seems that time is all right for her. Reports have it that the rights to Schumer's book is down to $8 to 10 million, and that's far higher than what Lena Dunham earned on her first book, "Not That Kind of Girl."

Schumer's book talks about her childhood, her family, how she got a break in comedy and feminism, according to Publishers Weekly. There will also be a number of her essay collections. Last week, the bid for the rights of the book started, followed by the publishers meeting. Earlier the bid was speculated to fetch around $5 to $8 million. After its closing on Friday, it is said that the winning bid falls between $8 to 10 million.

A lot of people have been buzzing about Schumer's book, especially when it comes to its earnings. On Wednesday, she took the money rumors in a funny way on Instagram, E! News reports. When another comedian Colin Quinn wrote, "Heard about the book deal. Trust me. Put that money in a bank!!!", she replied, "You have no information and I want far out of your phone. LOL!"

Meanwhile, it's been quite the week for Amy Schumer after winning an Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series with her TV show "Inside Amy Schumer." She's garnering good ratings for her sketch show, which premiered in 2013. Last summer, her movie "Trainwreck" also hit the box office. This year, she is now labeled as one of the Hollywood A-listers.

Schumer's book comes as another groundbreaking work done by a female comedian. It follows the work of Tina Fey's "Bossypants" and Mindy Kaling's "Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?" Schumer or her rep hasn't commented on the rumored earnings of her book.
