Nexus 5X Release: Device To Sport Competitive Specs, Expected To Be Available Through Four Major Carriers

Armed with competitive features, the Nexus 5X is expected be released soon through the four major carriers in U.S: the Verizon Wireless, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.

TechRadar has reported that the Google's Nexus 5X will be unveiled on September 29, Tuesday through a Press Conference that will be held in San Francisco.

Pocket-lint cited some of the prominent features Nexus 5X will have. This handset is reported to be engineered with Snapdragon 808 SoC (hexa-core 1.8GHz CPU), Adreno 418 GPU, and 3GB of RAM. It will be sporting a 16 GB and 32 GB internal storage options that is not expandable thru microSD.

Apart from that, it is also expected to have a 5.2-inch screen display having 2560 x 1440 Quad HD resolution with a 565ppi pixel density. As for its camera, it is suspected to have a dual LED flash that is also equipped with LG's laser autofocus, just like the ones that can be found on devices like the LG G3 and LG G4.

According to Phone Arena, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) expects the Nexus 5X to be compatible with all four major carriers in U.S namely: Verizon Wireless, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.

It was said that there were two versions of the handset that has received their wireless certifications from the FCC. The first one has model number LG-H790 which is believed to be the US version of the phone. The other version of the Nexus 5X will be bearing the model number LG-H791. The latter lacks support for CDMA carriers, and is expected to be a global GSM smartphone.

The FCC documents further shows that the US version of the LG Nexus 5X is well-matched with CDMA bands BC0, BC1, and BC 10, which means that the phone will be compatible with both Verizon and Sprint. Meanwhile, the T-Mobile and AT&T support is also guaranteed by the phone's reinforcement for GSM bands 850 and 1900, as well as WCDMA bands 2, 4, and 7.

In addition, the LTE compatibility of the US version of the Nexus 5X fits with LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 17, 25, 26, 29, and 41.
