The official synopsis for the second episode of "The Flash" Season 2 reveals that Barry Allen and Jay Garrick will meet each other. Cisco will also be discovering his powers and he will reportedly have a difficult time controlling it.
According to a report by Comic Book Resources, the second episode is entitled "The Flash of Two Worlds." The official synopsis reads that Jay Garrick will be introduced in this episode. He is this mysterious man who will appear at the S.T.A.R. Labs and is from Earth-2. He will warn Barry Allen and the rest of the team regarding the evil speedster named Zoom who will destroy The Flash.
Other spoilers for the second episode include the introduction of Patty Spivot, who will be played by guest star Shantal VanSanten. She will be dealt with by Joe as she wants to join the meta-human task force of the latter. The episode has been directed by Jesse Warn and written by Aaron and Todd Helbing.
Meanwhile, Cisco Ramone will reportedly discovering his new found powers in the premiere episode of "The Flash" as he was affected by the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator explosion that took place in the season 1 finale of the show.
Carlos Valdes, the actor who plays Cisco, shared, "It [ability to look into the other timeline] is something that Cisco has great difficulty coming in terms with. It is very interesting because Cisco is the ultimate fan boy, and he expresses this undying love for the heroes he works and that surrounds him. And now that he is faced with a similar fate he doesn't know how to handle it," International Business Times reported.
It was also reported by Franchise Herald that "The Flash" will have crossover episodes with another series entitled "Arrow."
"The Flash" season 2 will see Jay Garrick meeting the other speedster, Barry Allen. Cisco will also have some trouble controlling his powers. The CW series will return on air this October 6.
