Regardless of how cute the emoji brought to us by the modern technology, Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban don't prefer to text or email each other. Unlike any other couple, the two stick with the old fashioned way of communicating in person.
In a recent interview with DuJour, Kidman who prioritizes intimacy said "My husband and I never text each other. We never do. Once in a blue moon, we'll text. But mainly we say, 'I want to hear your voice.'"
Perhaps this is the reason why the two have been together for so long and still seem to be genuinely love with each other. "That's very unusual but we've been together for 10 years," The actress continued. "We started like that and we haven't changed it. We don't email each other either. So it's about trying to keep it as intimate and personal as possible."
Although the actress tries her best to keep using technology to a minimum when communicating with her husband, she admitted that it is necessary to stay connected with her children. "I have four children, so to stay in touch with them, it's very important," Nicole said. "I'm definitely engaged in it but I don't let it rule my life."
As noted by Taste of Country, the couple are also known to regularly display their affection in so many ways. Whether it's posting a lovely video on their anniversary or Keith conducting a gigantic singalong of "Happy Birthday" for his wife during the 2015 Country Jam. The couple will celebrate their 10 long years of marriage in 2016.
On another report by International Business Times, a particular magazine claimed that the Australian couple are having a baby boy. Kidman and Keith got married on 2006 and have two daughters - Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
While other relationships make the most of of the new technology in terms of communicating, Keith and Nicole put effort to keep their marriage personal. Although they are not texting each other, they still find a way to always talk despite busy schedule. Is this what makes an extraordinary couple?
