Sofia Vergara recently opened up on her wedding plans with soon-to-be husband, Joe Mangianello. The 43-year-old beauty excitedly spoke about her feelings towards getting married again, and what type of wedding dress and look she's aiming for. Despite getting engaged last December, Sofia admits she's a bit 'nightmarish' about her upcoming special day.
According to a report from Allure, it was during an interview with "Good Morning America" when Sofia Vergara discussed her wedding plans. Starting off the interview stating she's still 'nightmarish' about planning her wedding, the actress admitted she's still just as excited and can't wait to get everything in order.
With Vergara being a female in love with makeup, it didn't come as a surprise when she stated the importance of how she would look on her wedding day. "For a woman getting married, the dress and the makeup are super-important because that's what you're going to have for a long time in pictures," Vergara said. "If the food isn't good, everybody's going to forget about that. But you're always going to have pictures of you looking horrible or great."
Connections Mic also reported how Sofia isn't keen on a traditional wedding dress. In an interview with People, the brunette beauty admitted looking like a 'virgin' isn't her thing. "Personally, I know that I don't like the natural look that some brides do. I'm 43; I don't really need to look like a virgin getting married." She then continued saying "I want to look sexy. I want to look great. I want to look good and wear something that I know is going to look good in pictures.
In another report from Cosmopolitan, the 43-year-old added how she doesn't intend on wearing a veil. After stating she wore one for her previous marriage, the celebrity discussed how she feels it isn't needed especially after having a son. The TV host did admit that there's no point in her trying to pull of the 'virgin look.'
Though further details regarding the venue, guest list and wedding date were not discussed, Sofia Vergara gave away enough hints for fans to imagine what she could possibly look like on her wedding day. With the numerous amount of work placed in any wedding, and with Sofia being the bold and outgoing person she is known for, it wouldn't be a surprise if her wedding is extraordinary.
