Suicide Squad News: Jared Leto reveals how crazy his take on The Joker role; New leaked footage reveals Harley Quinn held as hostage

The baddies of DCEU are set to unite to save the world in the upcoming Suicide Squad. However, attention is now being focused on Jared Leto as he recently teased just about how crazy his Joker would be in the film. A new leaked footage also made its rounds online suggesting a kidnapping scene of Harley Quinn.

As reported by Heroic Hollywood, Jared Leto recently revealed in a Q&A event in Dubai how crazy he will be as the Clown Prince of Crime when a fan wearing a Batman shirt approached, who Leto called to be "very brave" before releasing a maniacal laugh. He later went on to say, "I can't wait for you to see this - they're going to lock me away in a box after this movie comes out."

This incident is not the first time Leto showcased his seriousness in taking the role. As cited by Independent, he also previously sent a dead rat to Margot Robbie who plays the role of his on-off girlfriend, Harley Quinn, bullets for Will Smith who plays as Deadshot, and a dead pig to the rest of the cast. Also, Robbie previously described Leto's take on the Joker as "cool and confronting" while Harley will be "absolutely nuts".

While it was clear in the trailer released in the previous Comic Con that before Harley becomes the Joker's girlfriend, she started off as Dr. Harleen Quinzel who was transformed after the Joker hurt her "really really bad". But more of the abduction scene was reportedly released according to International Business Times.

According to the trade, leaked footages of the film made their rounds online and although most of its parts are really blurry and of low resolution, Harley could be seen being held hostage and The Joker walking into a big room.

Suicide Squad is currently in post production after filming concluded several weeks ago. Aside from Leto, Smith, and Robbie, the film's cast also includes Cara Delevingne as The Enchantress, Adewale Agbaje-Akkinuoye as Killer Croc, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Adam Beach as Slipknot, and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo among many others. It is set to hit theaters on August 5, 2016.
