"Teen Mom OG" star Amber Portwood has announced on Instagram that she and fiancé Matthew Baier have already set a date for their wedding day. She also dished other details regarding her upcoming wedding.
According to Inquisitr, Portwood shared on Instagram that she cannot wait to marry Baier, 43, on October 2016. Although there was no specific date, at least fans of the star were able to know the month when she and Baier will get married. Portwood also uploaded a couple of other photos that provide more details about her wedding.
The publication added that Portwood uploaded a photo of her fiancé and her six-year-old daughter Leah. Leah is the daughter of Portwood and her former boyfriend Gary Shirley. Portwood revealed that her daughter is designated as the flower girl in her wedding.
In Touch Weekly added that during an interview last June, Portwood shared that her cousin Krystal will be the maid of honor as she is the closest person to her and even regarded her as her best friend. Her co-stars in "Teen Mom OG" Farrah Abraham, Maci Bookout, and Catelynn Lowell will also be part of her big day although no details about this have been released yet.
Despite the happy announcement, fans of the MTV show know that Portwood and Baier had a rocky start regarding their relationship. Twitter users bashed them because he was an addict in the past and that he was much older than Portwood. Portwood defended her new man noting that she is not an angel herself. She actually spent time in jail after being placed on probation when she attacked her ex-boyfriend. She also struggled with drug addiction.
According to OK! Magazine, a source revealed that the ceremony will be private as close friends and family are the only ones invited. The source added, "Between filming, school and promoting her book, [Amber Portwood] has been extremely busy. She wants to decompress at home in Indiana and really take the time to plan something special. She wants it to be perfect."
