One month after the release of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, gamers discovered a glitch allowing them to access and explore an area in the map that is supposedly inaccessible. A step by step guide on how to get the access of secret location has also been shared online.
The secret glitch found in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is claimed to be located in the Serak Power Plant which is also the same place where Metal Gear Sahelanthropus is being kept.
Yahoo News reports that a gamer on Reddit even gave a detailed a step by step guide for those who want to access this region by activating the glitch. After unlocking the glitch, players will find themselves in front of the Serak Power Plant's hangar.
Here are the steps on how to access the secret location, as revealed by the said Reddit user.
Step 1: Start a free roam mission.
Step 2: Spawn with a truck near the Serak Power Plant.
Step 3: Take out everyone in the base.
Step 4: Now, drive your truck all the way up to the back of the power plant. There should be a big metal door blocking your way to the hanger. Next to that big metal door is a Red locked door that is hidden/covered/blocked by boxes.
Step 5: Back up the truck to those boxes.
Step 6: Climb into the back of the truck.
Step 7: Climb onto the boxes.
Step 8: Now, you have to look down at the locked door just the right way and you will see the 'pick lock button' prompt.
Step 9: When you hit the action button, you will be glitched into the boxes and will unlock the door.
Step 10: Walk through the door and explore the hangar.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain was released on September 1 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC/Steam. It sold three million physical copies within the first week of its release.
