The music company Tidal just recently announced its powerhouse schedule of A-Lister performers to bring you the Tidal X: 1020. The concert event will kick off with A-lister music artists, including Beyonce, Jay Z, Nicki Minaj, Prince, and many more.
The concert tickets went on sale for Tidal members Wednesday. The ticket prices started from $74 up to $244. For general admission the "Tidal X: 1020" ticket will start on Friday, October 2. The proceeds of the concert will go to charities associated with the New World Foundation. A source even told Entertainment Tonight that the concert will "benefit nonprofit organizations dedicated to advancing positive community relations and effecting systemic change for the development and sustainability of just societies, this inaugural event's philanthropic focus."
"Tidal X" is just one of the company's many ways to help young artists create connections with fans and other musicians, as reported by Rolling Stone. The streaming service company has introduced Discovery and Tidal Rising, as well as hosted special shows to promote this advocacy. In May, Jay Z hosted a special concert for Tidal members and even featured Jack White's acoustic tour in April which was streamed exclusively on the site.
Previously, Jay Z acquired Tidal earlier this year. He also posted on Twitter on Tuesday to provide a sneak peek about the upcoming "Tidal X: 1020" concert. Jay Z tweeted, "Nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal exists' Tidal is platinum. 1,000,000 people and counting. Let's celebrate 10/20 Brooklyn."
Other artists who will be performing at the concert are Lil Wayne, Damian Marley, Indochine, Thomas Rhett, T.I., Fabolous, DJ Cipha Sounds and DJ Reflex, as mentioned by People. Tidal performers, including Alessia Cara, Bas, Benjamin Booker, Flatbush Zombies and Justine Sky also confirmed their acts for the event.
Meanwhile, those people who will not be able to attend the "Tidal X" live concert in New York can still catch the concert through live streaming. The service will be available for members and non-members on Tidal and HTC websites. The star-studded concert will be held on October 20 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
