Derrick Rose denies gang rape accusations; Says all sexual activities involved were with consent

Derrick Rose was recently accused of gang rape by his ex-girlfriend two years ago. When he learned about the serious accusations made by the supposed victim, Derrick fought back and filed his statement within a month. Insisting he is innocent and has nothing to hide, the famous basketball player admitted that all the sexual activities were consensual and no drugs or rape was involved.

According to Think Progress, last September 24th, Derrick Rose filed a document in response to the rape accusations that were made by an ex-girlfriend last August. In the report, it stated how the 'victim,' who was not named, filed a lawsuit against the NBA star and two of his friends, accusing them of drugging her and then raping her back in August 2013.

CNN reported that the Chicago Bull's player maintains his innocence and insists that all accusations made against him and his two friends are all false. The 26-year-old even stated in an interview last Monday, "I feel like I'm on the right track as far as who I want to be at, in my life and the direction I want to go," he said. "I just feel like when you're that focused, people try to take you down. I'm very confident that I will be proven innocent."

Rose's statement gives his side of the story which provided full details of what really happened that day he was accused of the said crime. According to the athlete, the complainant invited him and his friends into her apartment, opened her door and consented to "additional group activities later that evening." Rose didn't deny having sex with the woman; however, he insisted that it was with her consent, especially with the group sex.

Hollywood Life found out that the said 'victim' became upset a few months ago after the three men involved in the supposed 'rape,' didn't pay her back for a sex toy that was used during their sexual activities. The complainant continued to keep in touch with Rose after the 'rape,' but went wild when the NBA star cut off all communication with her.

Although there's a lot to consider in such a serious case, Derrick Rose still believes he will be proven innocent. The case is still at an early stage to find out more on what really went on. However, over the next few weeks, it's highly likely fans will be updated with the lawsuit as different court procedures take place.
