Another Nicholas Sparks For Romantic Movie Fans; "The Choice" Trailer Release

By

Another treat from Nicholas Sparks is coming to every romantic movie fans' way. A film adaptation of his twelfth published love story is slated for release on February 5, 2016, just in time for the love season.

Presented by Lionsgate, "The Choice" premiered its trailer and poster recently. The movie follows the life and love story of Travis Shaw played by stand-up comedian and actor Benjamin Walker and Gabby Holland played by Australian actress and model Teresa Palmer.

Travis, who lives in an uncomplicated single life in a small coastal town in North Carolina, meets Gabby as she moves next door. Their first encounter is composed of dogs and their romance grew together with growing puppies.

But the real anecdote beyond puppies, Southern accents and sunsets by the beach is a complex love triangle and life altering tragedy. Gabby turns out to have had another boyfriend who then meets a car accident, and Travis has to wait for her return. The film exists in the premise, "how far would you go to keep the hope of love alive?"

The movie with its first trailer hints a romantic drama having the same elements that of Nicholas Sparks' narratives are known for. It has an old wise narrator saying, "...every path you take leads to another choice. Some choices can change everything. Every moment of the rest of your life hangs on it." It will feature passionate, yet chaste scenes of lovers kissing by the beach, boats and a date night in the carnival.

"The Choice" is published in 2007 and is the eleventh movie-adapted story from New York best-selling author Sparks to hit the big screen. Prior to "The Choice," another Spark's novel, "The Longest Ride" was just previously released in theaters last July.

Sparks' was first published in 1996 in the age of 26. With over 100 million copies of his novels sold worldwide, translated in over 50 languages, each of his books has been New York Times bestsellers.

"The Choice" is directed by Ross Katz with Sparks producing and adapted for the screen by Bryan Sipe. Joining the film are Tom Welling, Maggie Grace, Tom Wilkinson and Alexandra Daddario.
