Khloe Kardashian has her-ex husband Lamar Odom's back, despite the emotional rollercoaster ride the basketball player has put her through. After receiving news of his best friend's death, Lamar turned to the 31-year-old reality star for comfort, and that's exactly what Khloe gave him.
In a report from Hollywood Life, Khloe Kardashian was ready to show her full-on support to ex-husband Lamar Odom after receiving an emotional phone call from him while taping an episode for "Keeping Up With Kardashians." Although the footage of the conversation was recently aired during last week's episode, the actual incident took place last June.
In the latest episode of 'KUWTK', Khloe can be seen talking on the phone with her ex-husband which at first she seemed reluctant to pick up. Despite the emotional divorce the former couple went through, Khloe comforted Lamar right away after she heard that his best friend Jamie Sangouthai had died due to drug complications.
According to E! Online, the Kardashian beauty told Lamar, "I'm so, so sorry" after hearing the news. The celebrity then opened up on the reality TV show saying, "Lamar's best friend since he was like 12, Jamie passed away unexpectedly. This is all just really upsetting," Khloé says. "He's distraught and devastated."
She later added, "Lamar has suffered so much loss in his life. I'm always going to be there for Lamar, especially when something as tragic as this happens...I'm really on high alert for Lamar because anything will set him to spiral and that's kind of the last thing I want for him."
The Mirror UK also reported that big sister Kim Kardashian wasn't at all impressed after finding out her younger sister was talking to Lamar again, and even made the comment "I feel sick to my stomach" every time she sees Khloe flirting with him on the phone.
Despite the hardships Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom went through, it seems the former couple will always have each other's back. Though Khloe has dated since their divorce and despite having some ups and downs in the last couple of months, the 31-year-old beauty has proven that she still has a lot of love left for Lamar and will always be there for him when needed.
