"iZombie" season 2 is set to come back on Tuesday, October 6, and spoilers have been revealed by the show's creator Rob Thomas ahead of the season premiere. It has also been reported that "Ocean's Eleven" star Eddie Jemison has been casted in the show as a villain.
In a report by TV Guide, Thomas shared that Liv's decision not to help her brother in the season 1 finale will lead to more major fallouts for the main character of the series. He also revealed that whether Liv's brother had survived or not will be revealed in the season 2 premiere.
Thomas also shared that Blaine and Major will find themselves dealing with side effects from the cure. The cure may not be permanent thus Ravi has to get his hands on another batch of Utopium in order to test his formula, International Business Times reported. Speaking of Major, his life will turn even worse as it was in the first season. He will reportedly work as a personal trainer as he cannot find another job as a social worker. He still won't be talking to Liv after he found out that she kept a secret from him.
The creator also noted that Peyton will be coming back although she won't be seen early in the season. Liv and Peyton have things to work out and they won't be as close as they have been before. And finally, Thomas revealed that more people will soon discover that zombies are existing. He shared that he plans to keep the number of zombies seen on the show relatively small.
Meanwhile, Comic Book reported that Jemison's character is this Seattle crime lord who goes by the name of Mr. Boss. Thomas shared, "The idea with the Mr. Boss character is essentially that he was the accountant for the mob, and, through his own shrewdness and willingness to go more violent than anyone else would, has landed as the man in Seattle. You would think with that name, it would be a loud, showy character, but he plays an affable, and yet incredibly dangerous villain."
"iZombie" season 2 will see Liv experiencing the fallout of her relationships with family and friends while Major and Blaine are to see the effects of the cure. The show returns on The CW this Tuesday.
