Reports say that the difference between Android Wear devices and Apple Watch has been narrowed. These smartwatches are slowly becoming similar to one another as time passes by.
The latest update of the Apple Watch has only made some adjustments on its outer look. It failed to address its flaw in its cloud computing capability and firmware. Thus, it seems that the Android Wear offers comparable experiences with the Apple Watch.
After some delays, Apple's newest watchOS has finally been released. It gives some advanced aspects to the Apple Watch, such as customization and enhanced functionality. The Cupertino-based tech giant has made a move to differentiate its hardware from the rest. More color options were added to the Apple Watch, which represents an upgrade to the Watch's exterior design. However, the company has yet to perk up its Apple Watch's battery life.
On the other hand, Google Android Wear partners are also releasing more improved offerings any time soon. One of the biggest announcements of the search engine giant about Android Wear was its capability to be paired with an iPhone. However, there are still some restrictions placed by Apple. Only limited stuff can be done while pairing an Android Wear with an iPhone, which include calendar and email alert updates. Any applications that need the Android Google Play Store will absolutely not work.
With regards to the smartwatches' value, Android Wear devices are competing effectively with Apple Watch. Android Wear watches found their success in the cheaper market, since Apple offers its innovative smartwatch in a more costly price tag.
The wearable market is now paving its way, for a lot of companies are into producing top-quality smartwatches too. Nevertheless, if Apple does not continue to revamp its Apple Watch, there will be lesser things to differentiate it with the Android Wear watches. More so, if Google keep on improving its Android Wear watches, then it might increase its sales growth than its rival.
