The production team of the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has kept the details concealed. Despite the intense secrecy, Jesse Eisenberg has revealed what to expect from the film.
Eisenberg has indicated that Lex Luthor's mo.o has been similar in most movies. But, Cinema Blend reported that his role will be a lot different and real in Batman v Superman. "[T]his movie is so different ... it has real psychological underpinnings, and this movie character feels like a real scary person," he said.
In Collider, he pointed out the accomplishments of Lex Luthor's father, Alexander Luthor Sr., who is an East German transplant who moved to America without anything and built an "empire of oil and machinery" through iniquitous and viciousness. While he makes his way through success, he made a lot of enemy, and it seems like his son is just one of them.
Reports now insist that Lex is not the first Luthor in the DC Cinematic Universe. According to the MTV, Lex first appeared in the 80s and kept returning until the 10s. However, people thought Eisenberg has been playing the Luthor Sr. all this time and only to find out that he is actually playing as the son.
Moreover, LexCorp has been getting military contracts lately, and works on a product which Luthor believes that will transform the world unlike Wayne Enterprises. Historically, Luthor is an older, balder megalomaniac-type far different from the photo of Luthor that has been released recently.
This is making it clear that the new version of Lex has been out with a long hair tech mogul. Lex unveiled that his dad created the company ten years before he was made. Although he was a good businessman, he was also a complicated guy.
