Up to now, LG has not yet provided any official word about its smartphones Android Marshmallow update. However, a report from Korean support page has provided hints that the LG G4 and the LG G3 handsets will get the update shortly.

According to Androidpit, the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow could be seen in the LG G3 and LG G4 soon,as this is what has been indicated in the Korean LG support page where it shows a recently added option of Android Marshmallow for the aforementioned devices.

It is also said that even if the option currently conveys to an unrelated page, it still seemed that LG is hard at work in equipping the update. This may also clarify why LG decided to skip over the Android 5.1.1 update for their flagship devices in order to have a better prepare for Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Vine Report also noted aforesaid statement above that although the South Korean Electronics company has yet to set any official announcement about Android Marshmallow 6.0 update, it Korean Support Website provided hints as to which LG smartphones may possibly acquire the new software update soon.

It is said that those flagships are the previous flagship LG G3, and the existing LG G4 which indicates the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, a new operating system version as an option.

A new OS version option was reported seen in all the LG G3 devices with model numbers F400S, F400K, and F400L. On the other hand, the LG G4 devices with model numbers F500S, F500K, and F500L have shown a similar latest OS version option just the same.

Based from the list, the users of LG G3 and G4 can manually check its availability through navigating to System Settings > about phone > Software update. Nevertheless, corresponding support pages are yet to be listed to provide detailed data of the Android Marshmallow update, International business Times wrote.

Google's new Android 6.0 Marshmallow is the successor of the last year's Android 5.0 Lollipop earlier this year. The new operating system features include the Google Now on Tap, Visual Voicemail and RAM Manager. This also includes improvements like the Chrome Custom Tabs, simplified app permissions and Doze power-saving option as well.

This period is also the season for something sweet for smartphones since the latest version of the Android operating system, the Android Marshmallow 6.0 from Google, will be rolling out to users including the LG G3 and LG G4 users shortly.
