"Pretty Little Liars 6b" will have a new opening sequence when it returns to the screen. EP Marlene King recently posted on Instagram a photo from the time it was shot. All four original liars with the newest addition Sasha Pieterse's character, Alison DiLaurentis, are dressed in black but with slippers on, that suggests that their feet will not be seen in the opening sequence.
Said photo has been the subject of much speculations as to why the stars are dressed that way. It is widely believed that there will be another death that will be mourned in the series especially since the girls could be seen standing behind a casket. The scene is similar to the original opening sequence where they were looking at a casket with Ali in it. Obviously though, it is now known that Ali is very much alive.
Some fans are guessing that the body in the casket is Mama DiLaurentis but Carter Matt argues that since Season 6b starts after her death, it makes no sense for her to be the one.
Still on the opening sequence, King has revealed that all five girls will get to do the signature "shhh" move. Originally, it was just Lucy Hale's character Aria that got to do it.
Melty reports that the stars of the series also did a photoshoot where they were seen much more mature and conspicuously transformed. When "Pretty Little Liars" season 6b premieres, the girls will be out of high school and are all grown up. They have gone to college and have taken up different professions.
As teased in the trailer released for the midseason premiere, they will be reunited. The reunion will be instigated by another threat to Alison's life, who has since returned to Rosewood to become a teacher.
Meanwhile, King revealed that Hanna will be engaged reports Design n Trend. There will also be one character who will be married but it will not necessarily be Hanna. In the same manner, Hanna could be engaged to a guy other than Caleb.
It was also revealed in a teaser that Aria will either be a writer or a journalist. Spencer is said to be a politician or working in the campaign of someone close to her. Emily, who was not pleased with college life, will rekindle her friendship with Toby.
"Pretty Little Liars" Season 6 premiere episode will be titled "Of Late I Think of Rosewood". It will air on January 2016 on ABC.
