'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Update: Is Shae Coming Back From The Dead? Melanie Liburd Casted For Undisclosed Role

By

HBO's "Game of Thrones" Season 6 is said to see more people coming back from the dead - among them, Jon Snow who is said to battle against the House of Bolton in the show's upcoming episodes, as well as Shae, played by Sibel Kekilli. Melanie Liburd has also been casted for the show in an undisclosed role.

According to Express, photos showing Kekilli at the set of "Game of Thrones" could very well mean that she will be back this sixth season. A fan tweeted a photo of her alongside the caption that reads: "Shae, sibel kekilli is here in peniscola and has been escorted onto set- tyrion hunger flashback?" The same fan tweeted later: "Just to confirm sibel kikelli is in the exclusive cast hotel so I doubt she is just visiting #GameOfThrones #juegodetronos."

Just a recap, Metro reported that Shae was strangled to death by Tyrion Lannister, played by Peter Dinklage. She was killed off at the end of season 4 when she betrayed Tyrion during his trial and ended up in bed with his father Tywin.

In the photos, the 35-year-old German actress was spotted in the set of "Game of Thrones" in Peñíscola, Spain. In one of the snapped photos, she was with her co-stars Conleth Hill, known as Varys in the show as well as co-producer David Benioff.

It might be possible that Shae will be appearing in some dream sequences as it is still unclear if she is really to reprise her role in season 6. It was written in the book that Tyrion constantly thinks and dreams about her before he killed her and also before he slayed his father using a crossbow.

Meanwhile, Vine Report revealed that Melanie Liburd was casted for a role that fits the description: "emaciated street woman in her thirties, a painfully thin woman living in extreme poverty with a starving baby." On Liburd's Instagram account, she revealed a photo of her with a caption that said, "Flying back to London then on to Spain to film Game Of Thrones. Holy *%#@ dreams actually do come true! I'm so excited I feel like jumping up and down!!"

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 will most likely see Shae back from the dead after she was killed off by Tyrion Lannister. Melanie Liburd has been casted but details about her role were not yet disclosed. The show is expected to premiere in 2016 with no specific date yet.
