Windows 10 Mobile make its way to Selected Lumia Devices; Build 10559 for Insiders to roll out this week

The latest build of Windows 10 Mobile for Windows Insiders is expected to start rolling out this week. Additionally, the Windows 10 Mobile OS will broaden its recipient to most of Lumia devices that is expected to roll-out before the year ends.

Microsoft promised to launch its new Windows 10 build for Windows Insiders after the October 6 hardware event. According to Softpedia, the release was postponed because of various bugs. Moreover, Microsoft had to postpone the new build's release until it is resolve that would have a better reliability and stability.

As noted by Softpedia on the Head of Windows Insiders's statement, Gabriel Aul recently hinted that build 10559 was tested internally at the company. However, it's not yet certain if the same version is the one that will be released to users this week. Additionally, there is a possibility that Windows development team has already prepared a newer build.

Furthermore, the new Windows 10 Mobile build for Windows Insider is more likely to be released this week, as reported by Windows Central. The report was based on the Gabriel Aul's response to a fan's question.

"Looking very good. We have a build that we've been stabilizing, doing final eval on it today/tomorrow", Gabriel Aul said on his twitter.

On the other hand, last October 6, Microsoft announced the next-generation Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL and the Lumia 550. All of these latest smartphones will run on Windows 10 Mobile straight out of the box.

According to Tech Times, the Windows 10 Mobile OS will also make its way to selected Lumia devices. The company did not state a specific release date of the latest mobile OS for existing Lumia devices. However, it is confirmed that it will begin rolling out this December.

As noted by Tech Times on Microsoft's statement, the company's ambition is to make the latest OS upgrade available to the majority of Lumia handsets that are running on Windows Phone 8.1. However, Microsoft also notes that not all the features of Windows 10 Mobile will be available on all Lumia smartphones.

Lastly, all current Windows Phone with 8 and 8.1 operating systems should be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free. However, it is also expected that the carrier approval processes may slow down its roll-out.
