Phablet Wars on Price, Battery, Camera: Google Nexus 6P vs. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus

Google Nexus 6P and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus are both commendable with its specs and features. Moreover, both devices have its edges in different fields like in price, camera and battery.

Since the launching date of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, it was one of the most expensive smartphones in the market. It started at £749, and up to £829 for the top model. However, Samsung has pulled down the price suddenly at £599 from the main store or it can be purchased in a less price from Amazon at £579.

On the other hand, the new Google Nexus 6P by Huawei is a more affordable option. The Nexus 6P's starting price is at £449 which has much lesser price than Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Moreover, According to PCAdvisor, the Google Nexus 6P has the good value which the Nexus range is known to be making improvements on compared to its predecessors.

THe Huawei Nexus 6P comes in a full metal unibody crafted from aeronautical-grade anodized aluminium. It is a 5.7 inch WQHD AMOLED display with 518 pixels per inch. It is also engined with Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor making the device's performance faster.

Furthermore, the Nexus 6P is sporting a long-lasting 3450 mAh battery that lets users go the distance with added support from a reversible USB Type-C for fast charging. It also sports 12.3 MP camera that boasts the 1.55μm pixels which can capture more light, thus,turning into vivid beautiful shots.

In contrast, the Samsung didn't leave its sleeves empty. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + comes in a larger dual-edge display crafted with 7000 series aluminum, boasting its 1.7 times stronger and 1.3 times more scratch-resistant than standard aluminum. It is a 5.7 inch Quad-HD display with 518 pixels per inch. It is also engined with Exynos 7420 Octa-core processor which also performs faster.

Moreover, the S6 Edge + is sporting a 3000 mAh battery and boasting its fast wireless charging. It also sports a 16MP camera with the F1.9 lens and Smart Optical Image Stabilization system.

In terms of display, both Nexus 6P and Galaxy S6 Edge + have 5.7 inch. Plus, both devices have the same pixels per inch, so, it shows that its a tie. With regard to battery and charging, the Nexus 6P excels with 3450 mAh battery and its USB-C. However, the S6 Edge + is commendable with its wireless fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + has higher MP size that also features F1.9 Lens and an optical image stabilization system which makes it excel in terms of camera. However, the Google Nexus 6P is also commendable beacuse of its 1.55μm pixels which can produce fine pixels to photos.
