Fans all over the world are waiting on when the tech giant will release the iPad Pro and the new Apple Pencil.
Apple unveiled the large tablet during the iPhone 6s launch event last month. Almost everyone was taken aback by the Cupertino-based company's decision to finally use a stylus on its tablets.
Unfortunately, the iPad Pro still has no release date yet. But there are reports saying that it will be either in early November or late October.
Apple hasn't confirmed anything yet. The source of the rumored launch date was from a supply chain in Japan, according to MacWorld.
The iPad Pro has been pitted against Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 because both have been marketed as a tablet/laptop hybrid. No benchmarks have been conducted yet as Apple's tablet is yet to be launched.
Apple might have overdone it a bit with the new tablet. It will sport a 12.9-inch display with a pixel resolution of 2732 x 2048, according to Dispatch Times. With the screen size and resolution, it is expected to have a pixel density of around 264 ppi.
In addition, the new tablet will be using the new A9X chip from Apple. The iPhone maker claims that the processor gives 1.8 times the performance of its predecessor. Furthermore, Apple is claiming that it can provide "desktop-class" performance for the CPU and "console-class" graphics for playing mobile video games.
With that said, Apple will be releasing several models for the iPad Pro. The 32GB Wi-Fi model will cost at least $799, while the 128GB variant will have a price tag of $949. For those who would like to buy the 128GB Wi-Fi and cellular model, they will have to shell out $1079.
Besides the new tablet, Apple is also expected to release its new 4K iMac as early as next week. However, it could coincide with the launch of the new tablet, according to Independent.
Apple has made many claims about the new iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. Will the new, larger tablet be a game changer?
