Light, a California-based startup company, announced last October 7 a brand new camera. The L16 is a 16-in-1 camera that generates the same quality as DSLR cameras.

As boasted by Light, the L16 16-in1- camera uses a new approach to folded optics design, which creates a DSLR quality. It comes in a slim and streamlined camera body. Additionally, the company also describes it like having a camera body, zoom, and 3 fast prime lenses right in users pocket.

Additionally, the Light explains that the L16 is packed with 16 individual cameras, where 10 of the cameras shoot simultaneously. The L16 allows to capture the scene with the details at multiple fixed focal lengths. Moreover, the final image comes in a high quality picture with up to 52 megapixels resolution, which the images are computationally fused to generate an incredible picture.

On the other hand, the L16 16-in-1 camera has a friendly interface and large touch screen that makes it easy to capture professional-looking photos on the go. The camera also features an on-board editing and built-in Wi-Fi, which it can be shared right away to users favorite site.

In order to deliver the best pictures possible, the L16 was designed to work ideally in low-light conditions, reduce image noise and control the depth of the field. It also offers 35-150 mm optical zoom, so users can get a closer image of the object they are shooting. All these features were combined so that users will get better images than they ever imagined.

This kind of image quality is can only be seen in DSLR cameras before. The disadvantage of DSLR camera is that it has usually bigger sizes. As noted by Technology Review, it will definitely won't fit in users pocket, which is the advantage of the Light L16.

Furthermore, the Light L16 comes in a 5- inch touchscreen on the back. As reported by the Verge, the features are so convenient to users, specially to those who love to update their social media from time-to-time because the L16 can edit their images and share them without problems.

The Light L16 16-in-1 camera will not hit the stores before next fall. It won't be cheap either, coming with a $1699 price tag. In case the consumer can't wait for it to get to the shelves, it can be reserved on the Light website. Moreover, the Light even offers a $400 launch month discount, so consumers could purchase it at a lower price.
