Although details about the upcoming Five Nights at Freddy's movie is presently scarce, director Gil Kenan has been generous in releasing photos teasing the film's plot. Moreover, Kenan's most recent photo suggests that Bonnie could appear in the film.
As reported by Latin Post, since the announcement of his involvement, Kenan has been teasing about the film in his social media accounts. He previously revealed that the film will not use too much CGI and will be shot practically in order to generate a more terrifying effect. Moreover, he revealed that the film will be created along with the game series creator Scott Cawthon's involvement, and will stick close to the game's lore .
Some of Kenan's most intriguing photos include a photo of what seems to be an animatronic under construction at the Henson Creature Shop. Aside from that he also posted a Prize Center, which many believe to be one resembling the version in Chuck E. Cheese, and is also particularly notable in the game as the attraction where the animatronic hides.
Furthermore, according to Ecumenical News, Kenan released a photo in early September showing a child sitting on the lap of a man wearing a rabbit suit. Although it has not been confirmed yet, it is heavily speculated that it could be of Bonnie's inclusion in the film.
According to Christian Post, some of the characters who will appear in the film include Golden Freddy, Mangle, and Spring Trap. Given Kenan's recent photo, Bonnie might also appear as well as Foxy who is also rumored to be included.
The Five Nights at Freddy's movie will be directed by Kenan, and written by Tyler Burton Smith. It will be produced by Vertigo Entertainment along with Seth Gramahe-Smith and David Katzenberg for KatzSmith Productions. No release date has been slated for the film but more details are expected to be revealed as production takes progress.
