Kingdom Hearts 3 remains to be one of the most talked about upcoming titles from Square Enix as fans are yet to receive an official announcement surrounding its release date, new Disney worlds and other exciting gameplay features to look forward to in the game.
While it has been announced earlier that fans of Kingdom Hearts 3 will be treated to the much awaited release details, game director Tetsuya Nomura dished some major reveals regarding the development of the game as well as working with Disney and more.
In an interview with GamesTM, fans got a delightful dose of what to watch out for in Kingdom Hearts 3 as Nomura tackled the all-new features in the combat system. He has revealed about Sora's Keyblade transformation into different form of weapons just liek that of Ventus, Aqua, and Terra which was realized and made doable with the new engine and hardware technologies.
Nomura further shared how challenging it was for his team to develop the game from ground up and deal with adjustment and improvement to be made. The game creator also hinted the game having a happy ending in Sora's adventure and that more characters could be added in the game.
Meanwhile, there are three new Disney worlds confirmed so far to be included in Kingdom Hearts 3 and these include Hercules, Tangled, and the recently announced Big Hero 6. Although, popular worlds like Toy Story, The Jungle Book, The Fox and The Hound, and Wreck-It Ralph could also be among the best choices for the title joining fan favorites Frozen and Brave, Movie Pilot cited.
Yibada noted that The Fox and The Hound and Toy Story make two interesting worlds for Square Enix masterpiece as these movies bear the perfect friendship and adventure themes. in addition, co-director Tai Yasue stated that Star Wars and Marvel worlds including Final Fantasy characters like Noctis, Balthier, Fran, Zidane, Snow Villiers, Vincent Valentine, Warrior of Light could also make exciting additions.
As for the release date, the latest leaked email sent to a customer of Amazon outed that Kingdom Hearts 3 might get a Jan. 2, 2017 launching, however, the game developer has not issued a comment in response to this leak, thus, it must be taken with a grain of salt until Square Enix makes the official release date announcement soon.
