Huawei will be releasing its newest flagship smartphone, the P9. Leaked images of the forthcoming smartphone made by the Taiwanese tech giant show that the device might sport a dual camera set-up.
According to Ubergizmo, the leaked image also shows that there are two panels showing LTE and the other one showing Delux, which might be an indication that there would be two different models of the Huawei P9 that will be released soon. In addition, both the panels appear to be similar with a dual camera setup, a flash unit, and another cut-out which seems to be the laser autofocus.
Tech Times cited other features that Huawei P9 might sport. One of the cameras is believed to be a 16 megapixel camera that will feature optical image stabilization. It'll probably be armored with a 5.2-inch screen that will have a resolution of 1080 x 1920 with a pixel density of 424 pixels per inch.
It was previously mentioned that this handset might be engineered with a Kirin 950 chipset and 4GB worth of RAM. It is expected to be accompanied by four Cortex-A72 cores and another four Cortex-A57 cores, working hand-in-hand with Mali-T880 GPU for the smartphone's graphics.
With the Kirin 950 chipset, the P9 would have a boosted performance and speed. It is notable that this chipset has scored higher in benchmark test compared to Exynos 7420 that has been used in the Galaxy series of Samsung.
As for its price, AndroidPIT said on its article that the Huawei P9 might be tagged at $500 primarily because Huawei P8 entered the market at around $530. Similar with the Huawei P8's release, Huawei P9 might also be unveiled April next year.
As the release of the Huawei P9 is forthcoming, speculations have been constantly circulating. But then, none of these features and specifications were confirmed by the Taiwanese tech giant yet, so potential buyers still have to wait until the company rolls out its specifics soon.
