Apple fans are already searching and speculating for the rumored iPhone 7 which is expected next year. What are the specs so far?
Since there has been no reliable source or insider yet, the specs are sometimes conflicting. However there are some that are consistent throughout the reports.
The iPhone 7 is expected to be completely waterproof. Apple's new smartphone could be submerged in a long duration without sustaining any damage from liquids.
Users will be able to enjoy a quick swim at the pool or some splashing fun at the beach even with their Apple smartphone in their pocket. The waterproof capability was speculated after the current iPhone 6s and 6s Plus models were able to stay underwater for at least 60 minutes, according to Mic.
Since it would be waterproof, the iPhone 7 could sport a non-metal chassis. This is to prevent rust from being wet and for a lighter model.
Of course, the new phone would pick up after the features of the current models. It could also feature the new 3D Touch display and a much faster and more responsive Touch ID for quicker Apple Pay transactions.
The iPhone 7 could also sport the new A10 processor. TSMC reportedly won the deal to manufacture them using the 10nm process over Samsung last month. It could prove to be a faster and more efficient chip.
There could also be new features that will integrate with the Apple Watch 2 next year. Apple would most likely apply the new Rose Gold and Space Grey colors for the new phone, according to Alphr.
Apple would most likely release the new iPhone 7 next year. They have been releasing new phone models every year and the pattern states that a new model will be launched in 2016.
As for the exact release date, the phone could be unveiled on September 9 next year, according to iDigitalTimes. Launch dates for the United Kingdom and United States might be the same.
For the price, no reports have mentioned it yet. Considering that the cheapest iPhone 6 on the Apple store is $549, the new phone could be more expensive at launch.
There is no concrete evidence that the iPhone 7 is under development. What features would the fans expect on the new rumored smartphone?
