Noah (Dominic West) and Alison (Ruth Wilson) will see the serious consequences of their illicit affair in Episode 3 of "The Affair" Season 2. Viewers will also get to see how things will go for Noah after being accused of killing Scotty (Colin Donnell) in the previous episode.
In the promotional video posted on TV Fanatic, Noah denies killing Scotty but confesses that at some point he wanted to kill him as he has never liked him. He calls Scotty a creep and a lowlife for getting his teenage daughter Whitney (JuliaGoldani Telles) pregnant. This was probably the motive the judge considered in ordering the charges filed against him.
Noah says that it was a deer that he killed but his memory seems to betray his words. He certainly looked like he recalled running down a man and not a deer. It is also clear that his lawyer's only recourse is to find the real culprit.
Noah can be seen telling his lawyer, "Would I have liked to kill him? Of course I would." The confession becomes even more damaging as he is charged with several offenses, including obstruction of justice and vehicular homicide reports MNR Daily. He was blamed for the death after Scottywas hit by a car.
According to Realty Today, Scotty's death is only one of Noah's problems as an angry Whitney lashes out at him for leaving her mother, Helen (Maura Tierney). She becomes even angrier when she sees an engagement ring on Alison.Alison herself is having doubts on her relationship with Noah because of the many challenges they are facing - Scotty's death, Noah's daughter and Alison's ex-husband.
At the end of Episode 2 however, it was revealed that Noah and Alison got married at some point and even had a daughter together. Alison bumped into Cole outside the courtroom where Noah's case was being heard and Cole appeared to have recovered and moved on from their break-up.
