YU has confirmed to release its fifth smartphone, the Yutopia in the coming weeks. The company is set to unveil its first high-end handset very soon in India.
YU Televentures is an Indian-based company that is owned by Micromax, the country's leading smartphone manufacturer. So far, YU has launched four budget smartphones, the Yureka, Yuphoria, Yureka Plus, and Yunique, to its lineup and the fifth one is soon to be revealed.
The registrations for YU Yutopia have just started through its official website. Apparently, it is not a preorder registration, rather a "let me know when you have more information" registration, as per Android Headlines.
According to some reports, the YU Yutopia is expected to sport a 5.2-inch Quad HD display with 2560 by 1440 pixels resolution. It is allegedly to be available in both 3GB and 4GB of RAM variants. Under the hood, it is rumored to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor and include 32GB of internal memory.
Camera wise, Yutopia will boast a 21-megapixel primary shooter and an 8-megapixel front snapper. With regards to its connectivity, the device is said to include GPS, 4G LTE, WiFi, and Bluetooth. In addition, it is speculated to come in Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box as well as pre-installed Cyanogen operating system on top of the Android OS.
Furthermore, the Yutopia will be priced at around Rs 25000 when it's launched in India. It will still be quite affordable compared to other smartphones at par in the market.
On the whole, YU is paving its way to the smartphone industry these days. As it continues to develop and market its innovations, it is gaining more brand awareness and most of all, growth sales. Interestingly as it seems, Yutopia might just be one of the most powerful and advanced smartphones at its range in the coming days.
