Hollywood superstar George Clooney has yet to give any comments on the divorce rumors with wife Amal Alamuddin-Clooney. Despite countless speculations that the couple is headed for a divorce, the two are still making their married life work.
Only recently, Clooney had a dinner with Amal at Sunset Tower Hotel's Tower Bar in West Hollywood. The pair opted for a cozy night together for their one-year anniversary, as cited by Vanity Fair.
Still, it is not very easy to completely shut off reports that wish to probe into Clooney's marriage. According to Classicalite there is no truth in reported pregnancy of the human rights lawyer, and it was only used to disprove divorce issues. Instead, Alamuddin is being scrutinized for suspected anorexia.
While we wait for Clooney himself to give us update on his status with beloved wife, the superstar has just given his response with regards to running for a political position.
The Oscar-winning actor has been involved in politics for years and is currently the front of Sudan action campaign. With marrying a top human rights lawyer, people assumed that he has finally taken a serious interest in global and national affairs as noted by Scout.
But it seems that his wife's passion has not swayed the actor, as he definitely wants no involvement in political affairs.
"I've been asked about that for almost 20 years now. The answer is just no. I mean who would ever wanna live like that?" said Clooney in a report by Business Standard.
While the famous star has ruled out any political involvements, his marital affairs remain to be an object of media buzz. Right now, what can be confirmed is that Clooney and Amal are both relatively busy with each of their careers.
And while they are both unperturbed in their jobs and do not seem to have plans in establishing a family in the near future, then the likeliness of their divorce rumors is not without merit.
