Bethesda's massive free mobile hit game, Fallout Shelter, released for iOS and Android has received the new 1.2 update adding new Fallout 4 character named Piper, Survival Mode, and a lot more content for the game.
As reported by Game Spot, Bethesda's free-to-play Fallout Shelter video game introduces gamers to a new game mode, additional content, and the free Fallout 4 character for iOS users.

Based on what is shown on the trailer, the title's latest update offers Survival mode which appeared to be higher difficulty setting. The description provided states, "Faced all the challenges the 'normal' Vault simulation can provide? Introducing Survival Mode! More danger, More glory. Make Vault-Tec proud!"
In addition, gamers can have the following: New loot for defeated enemies, tutorial skip, and the Mysterious Stranger encounter. Players will also get rewarded with caps for spotting enemies in the Vault. A new statistics page in the Vault Dweller's Survival Guide is also added in the game.
For iOS users, they can avail of an exclusive free character from Fallout 4 named Piper who was first seen in the trailer and five free lunchboxes. Also, support for cloud saves is available now to allow gamers to manage their Vaults from multiple devices.
It appears that Piper will likely play a big part in Fallout 4. As revealed in the teaser clip, Piper is an owner of a newspaper known as Public Occurrences.
iDigital Times wrote that by looking at the way she lets players step into her office and says, "I have an idea for an article you'd be perfect for," she could be the one to give out missions for gamers to accomplish. Piper is said to be one of the gamers' companions, although, this is based on pure theorized speculation.
In Fallout Shelter, Piper will be seen in players' Vault where she will serve as a Legendary Dweller and has increased S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats.
After long years of rumors and fan theories, Fallout 4 is finally confirmed to release on November 10 while Fallout Shelter has been released by Bethesda as part of its Marketing campaign for its AAA title first released for iOS and subsequently for Android devices.
