Huawei P9 Rumors: Features Dual Rear Camera Setup, Kirin 950 Chipset to be Unveiled in Fall 2016?

By

Huawei is alleged to be working on its P8 smartphone successor, the P9. This innovative handset is rumored to include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor alongside dual primary camera setup. It is expected to be of high quality with affordable price tag as its predecessor.

A lot of rumors about the Huawei P9 have surfaced online for the past few months. Some of the biggest speculations were about the smartphone's dual rear camera and that the company's own state-of-the-art Kirin 950 processor will run the device, which is said to work faster than Samsung's Exynos 7420.

Just recently, photos of the alleged P9 were leaked by Steve Hemmerstoffer, a notorious leaker. The images showed that there was a pair of labels, gold and white, for its primary snapper. A sensor for its laser autofocus was also featured, which will give the users a quick focusing time for more improved quality photos.

As reported by Android Pit, the forthcoming Huawei P9 is more likely to be unveiled in fall of next year rather than at the end of this year. Since Huawei has just released its Mate S and Nexus 6P devices, it is most probably that the P9 won't be in the light this 2015.

Furthermore, the P9 is rumored to feature a 5.2-inch screen with Full HD display resolution as well as include 4GB of RAM. It will also sport a metal unibody with a flat rear and Gorilla Glass screen protection. Camera wise, it is set to boast a 16-megapixel primary shooter with optical image stabilization, laser autofocus, and two lenses.

In terms of its pricing, Huawei P9 may cost at slightly over $500. Since its predecessor is priced at $530 in the market, P9's price may not go far from it.

On the whole, P9 might be one of the fastest Android smartphones because of its rumored processor. All Huawei users and spectators may get a hold of it sometime next year. Thus, keep up-to-date until the company has some official announcements to make about its upcoming device.
