Hyperloop, a high-tech futuristic transportation system initiated by Elon Musk, is now in progress with the help of crowdsourced teams formed after Musk open-sourced its blueprint. The technology will be tested this summer at SpaceX headquarters and is expected to be operating by 2020.

An extreme high-altitude weather condition has caused SpaceX to abort its rocket launch mission for the fourth time. The team will continue to monitor weather condition, especially for Friday, where they plan to set another attempt.

SpaceX aborts its third attempt to launch its Falcon 9 rocket, which is designed to land its booster on a platform, making spaceflight more affordable. The abrupt scrub, just seconds before the liftoff, was due to an unexpected delay that caused the fuel to fail.

The usage of Atlas V rockets will enable the US Defense Department to compete for military and spy satellite launch contracts. ULA is poised for its latest launch this week and this is its 100th mission this week.

As part of its objective to promote industrial and business activity, Florida County has offered incentives to Blue Origin to make and launch rockets near NASA's Kennedy Space Center. Blue Origin has been promoted by billionaire Jeff Bezos, founder and Chief Executive of Amazon.com. The space center is coming up in Brevard County.
