Electronic Arts and Visceral Games' cops-and-robbers shooting game, Battlefield: Hardline has announced its upcoming DLC entitled Blackout, featuring new missions and an impressive arsenal of weapons. Robbery, one of its four DLCs has finally been organized and its specifics announced. In fact, it added eleven new weapons, instead of the four it previously announced.
The Robbery DLC has is themed to feature the most vile gangs wherein these groups plan out their criminal activities, execute their heist, and then get them in cuffs before they even pull it off. Some crimes shall involve looting jewels, fiddling an international smuggling circle, or stealing a high valued intel. Battlefield official website reveals the contents of its second DLC on the line which includes four exclusive maps, a Squad Heist game mode, new weapons, new gadgets, new vehicle upgrades, new camos and vehicle paints, and what they call "The Legendary Super Feature" which is yet to be revealed.
A Youtuber in the name of Westie disclosed the introduction of eleven new weapons after closely analyzing the gameplay footage unveiled during Gamescom 2015. It was revealed that some are brand new weapons, some borrowed from Battlefield 4, and there are some that only used to be available as upgrades. Techtimes enumerated the weapons and there the new arsenal goes: F2000, MDC, Famas, RPK, FN57 handgun, a Scorpion (CZ 3A1) PDW, a Barrett M82.50 Cal Semi-Auto sniper rifle, Saiga 12 shotgun, M1 Carbine, an MP7 PDW and a throwing knife.
Visceral Games has now released the specifics of its first two DLCs, Criminal Activity and Robbery. However, a leak discovered by Cinemablend surfaced the two other titles, each having their brief summary; Getaway and Betrayal. Getaway is a high-speed chase action, while Betrayal is a strategic game wherein one should have to point out who to trust and especially who not to. These four expansions could all be purchased at once with Battlefield: Hardline Premium.
Having its second DLC finally unveiled, fans have a lot to expect from Robbery, especially from its gadgets, vehicles, weaponry, game mode, and the yet to be revealed Legendary Super Feature.
