Visceral Games has announced that they will be issuing the first DLC pack for the new Battlefield: Hardline. Known as "Criminal Activity", this DLC pack contains a new game mode, some new maps, and access to some new weapons and vehicles.
After the release of Battlefield: Hardline last March 17 to March 19, Visceral now plans to release the first of the four DLC packs included in Battlefield: Hardline Premium - the DLC membership program. Criminal Activity is the first DLC pack followed by Robbery, Getaway, and Betrayal. Battlefield: Hardline takes players away from military warfare and focuses more on the "war in crime". Because of this, the main factions in the game are the Police Special Response Units and Criminals. Players will have access to crime-fighting weapons such as tasers and handcuffs as well as some military-grade equipment such as the Lenco BearCat used by SWAT teams.
The DLC pack comes with a new game mode called Bounty Hunter and some new maps for the game. There will also be some new weapons included such as a new Pump action bullpup Shotgun for the police faction, Battle Rifle for the criminal faction, Nail Gun for both factions, and Assault Rifle for the Police faction. The new Sub-Machine Gun can be used by both factions and any character class can use it. Some new ammo will also be introduced to the game like AP tracer rounds that can pierce through enemy armor and some breaching rounds designed for opening doors. The DLC pack also adds new vehicles like the lowrider which is the perfect vehicle for the cunning criminal and the pick-up truck. Even if the new pick-up truck is a civilian vehicle, it is perfect for carrying squads through difficult terrain like hazardous dirt roads.
Battlefield: Hardline is a first-person shooter game developed by Visceral games. It was released last March 2015 for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC and unlike previous Battlefield games, Battlefield: Hardline puts crime at its center.
