The exact release of "Cyberpunk 2077" remains unknown. However, CD Projekt Red's Jose Teixeira reportedly revealed that the upcoming game will be grander than "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt." The visual effects artist also mentioned how the said game will be jam-packed with effects.
According to Yibada, CD Projekt Red's main visual effects artist unveiled several details surrounding "Cyberpunk 2077." He reportedly indicated how the game would be pretty much impressive compared the highly successful "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt." The forthcoming game will reportedly be 35 percent greater than the latter, as it is "far bigger than anything else that CD Projekt Red has done before."
"Cyberpunk 2077" is based on another action-jammed game "Cyberpunk 2020," which was originally created by Mike Pondsmith. After unveiling the game, the Poland-based game developer reportedly took their efforts on creating the "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," which was made available just five months ago. "Cyberpunk 2077" is basically the company's follow-up to the latter.
VentureBeat reported that the upcoming game will be totally different in style and would involve superb visual effects in creating a futuristic world. "Cyberpunk 2077" is reportedly a challenge for Jose Teixeira, but one that is relishing in nature. For Teixeira, the game is going to be full of explosions, fire and lightning. It's guaranteed to be "a mess of effects."
If "Witcher 3" offered players a massive game world to explore as well as a 200-hour worth of gameplay, "Cyberpunk 2077," on the other hand, will reportedly be grander in scale. The studio is believed to be stepping into an enigma in terms of size, complexity and obstacles.
Gamepur, on the other hand, expressed how they would love for "Cyberpunk 2077" to include huge and fascinating fantasy locations. Gamers reportedly admired how "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" offered big places to explore, mysterious and charming characters, and randomly generated situations filling them. Hence, they reportedly hope for "Cyberpunk 2077" to offer the same sophisticated gameplay if not better.
Since "Cyberpunk 2077" is still but a pipedream, fans can just hope for the game to follow its promise of being greater than "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt." And if Jose Teixeira's claims are to be true, then it is something worth the wait.
