The team of geniuses in "Scorpion" Season 2 Episode 5 went to yet another dangerous mission that took them to Kazakhstan. Katherine told them the news about a casual nuclear missile bidding going on there. The plan was for Team Scorpion to find where the nuclear missile is stored, report back and let the Navy SEALs do the rest. The episode has many fun elements with the team dressing up as superheroes and saving the day.
They are moonlighting as a film crew for the movie version of Super Fun Guy which is practically Sylvester's dream come true reports EW. The team gets a close call with a suspect but Walter and company use their x-ray camera to locate the hidden missile.
Unfortunately, the Navy SEALs that were supposed to transport the missile grounded. The team then came up with the plan to douse the bomb in nitric acid which has to be done in a tunnel to limit the damage it can cause.
Meanwhile, Cartermatt reports that Sylvester missed the Kazakhstan caper because he promised Megan he will be with her during her deep brain stimulation procedure. Unfortunately, the undercover mission coincided with the day of the surgery. Megan had a successful surgery and woke up with Sylvester right there waiting for her.
It didn't escape Walter though that Sylvester's mind was elsewhere other than the mission. There was a great moment in "Scorpion" Season 2 Episode 5 when Walter brings back a Super Fun Guy suit for Sylvester and tells him that he knows there is something wrong going on and that he is there for Sylvester if he wants to talk about it.
Also in the episode, TV Fanatic reports that Toby admitted his Happy addiction but decided to quit cold turkey because he can't just be friends with her. This will put the ball in Happy's court as she has to react to Toby's new attitude towards her.
