HTC One E9+ smartphones will finally be receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow by the first quarter of the 2016 leaving behind Android 5.1 Lollipop software version. The Marshmallow upgrade comes with several enhancements and feature additions that will surely make a One E9+ owners happy.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been confirmed rolling out to One E9+ alongside a bunch of HTC smartphones and devices. A list revealed the expected time of arrival for HTC devices showed that One E9+ will get it early in 2016 as soon as January.
HTC One E9+ is also confirmed skipping the first maintenance release of Android Lollipop before Marshmallow. Currently, the device is being updated with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop version.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come in with several new features that are deemed a good challenger towards cutting-edge system of Windows and iOS operating systems. Google has been reported modifying a lot of existing apps and configuration to keep up with the ever growing mobile tech industry. Android has apps and features inspired from Windows and iOS but the search giant cum developer puts confidence in Android to morph into a revolutionary software.
Marshmallow will feature improved Google Now, battery saver Doze, app backup and restore, improved Apps Permissions, and several others.
Google Now provides owners a plenty of information about nearby restaurants, sorts of reviews, locations, upcoming events and more. Doze terminates background processes and idle apps helps manage power-consuming apps.
HTC One E9+ sports a 5.5-inch display made with Quad HD resolution. This supersized smartphone rocks a Mediatek helio X10 processor, 3 GB of RAM, and BoomSound speakers on the front panel.
Its main camera wears a 20 MP sensor supporting f2.2. The front camera is best for selfie shots boasting fast autofocus for nice close up shots.
Meanwhile, a benchmark test revealed that One E9+ scored a whopping 42,048 points, proving that its chip's performance is never bad at all.
HTC One E9+ costs US 698 dollars.
